We believe in providing families with clear and transparent information before enrolling with LE ALA Academy.
Our Academy programme runs for 20 weeks and concludes with the LE ALA End-of-Year Showcase
One-Off Registration Fee
| $50 per student
The registration fee is invoiced separately and must be paid before the student attends their first class. Enrolment is confirmed once payment has been received and remains subject to class availability.
The registration fee includes:
• Student enrolment and administration
• Placement into the appropriate vasega
• Initial assessment where required
• Student record and emergency-contact setup
• Academy welcome and onboarding information
• Access to Academy communications and class updates
• Initial programme resources and materials
• LE ALA-branded lavalava
Registration fees are separate from the 20–week programme fees and are not eligible for sibling discounts.
They are non-refundable once enrolment has been confirmed, except where the programme is cancelled by LE ALA Movement.
20-Week Programme
KENESE | Ages 3–6
$10 per week
$200 for the complete 20-week programme
What this covers:
• Structured weekly Siva Sāmoa classes | One 45-minute session per week
• Technique, movement and cultural education including basic Sāmoan language and calls
• Choreography and performance preparation
• Tutor guidance throughout the programme
• Programme resources and learning materials
• Preparation and rehearsals for the LE ALA Movement Showcase
• Showcase uniform/costume provision
LUMANA’I | Ages 7–12
$15 per week
$300 for the complete 20-week programme
What this covers:
• Structured weekly Siva Sāmoa classes | One 1-hour session per week
• Technique, movement and cultural education including rhythm and coordination
• Choreography and performance preparation
• Tutor guidance throughout the programme
• Programme resources and learning materials
• Preparation and rehearsals for the LE ALA Movement Showcase
• Showcase uniform/costume provision
FA’AMOEMOE | Ages 13–17
$15 per week
$300 for the complete 20-week programme
What this covers:
• Structured weekly Siva Sāmoa classes | One 1.5-hour session per week
• Technique, movement and cultural education including rhythm and coordination
• Choreography and performance preparation
• Tutor guidance throughout the programme
• Programme resources and learning materials
• Preparation and rehearsals for the LE ALA Movement Showcase
• Showcase uniform/costume provision
TA’ITA’I | Ages 18+
$20 per week
$400 for the complete 20-week programme
What this covers:
• Structured weekly Siva Sāmoa classes | Two 1.5-hour sessions per week
• Technique, movement and cultural education including rhythm and coordination
• Choreography and performance preparation
• Tutor guidance throughout the programme, including a student progress portfolio updated weekly
• Programme resources and learning materials
• Preparation and rehearsals for the LE ALA Movement Showcase
• Showcase uniform/costume provision
The 20-week programme includes a six-week fundamentals course in the first six weeks for all experience levels, with a Certificate of Acknowledgement awarded to students who successfully meet the course completion and graduation requirements.

Class Times and Showcase Rehearsals
Regular class days and times will follow the published Academy schedule. As the LE ALA Academy Showcase approaches, class times, session lengths and rehearsal frequency may vary to accommodate combined rehearsals and performance preparation.
Additional or extended rehearsals may also be scheduled where required. Families will be given advance notice of any changes wherever possible.
Family Discounts
One student: Standard programme tuition applies
Two students: 5% discount on combined programme tuition
Three students: 10% discount on combined programme tuition
Four or more students: 15% discount on combined programme tuition
Family discounts apply to programme tuition only and do not apply to registration fees.
Payment Options
Programme tuition must be paid in full, or an approved payment arrangement must be confirmed, before the student attends their first class. Where automatic payments are selected, the first payment must be made before attendance.
Enrolments remain open throughout the programme, subject to class availability and the stage of programme delivery at the time of enrolment.
We offer three standard payment options:
Option One — Full Payment |
Pay the complete programme tuition in one payment.
Option Two — Two Split Payments |
Pay the programme tuition in two equal instalments on the due date stated on the student's invoice.
Option Three — Automatic Payments |
Pay the programme tuition through regular automatic payments according to the agreed schedule.
Automatic payment schedules are generally arranged as monthly instalments.
However, if these options do not meet your family’s needs, please contact LE ALA.
We are more than happy to discuss available arrangements where possible.
